Mr Robot Lab Setup

Shopping List:

Note: Your Host Machine needs to be able to run virtual machines

  1. VirtualBox
  2. VirtualBox Extensions pack
  3. Mr-Robot:1 Virtual Machine
  4. Kali Linux Virtual Machine

VirtualBox Setup:

  1. After downloading VirtualBox and installing the extensions pack you should create a new natnetwork so that the vms that we are going to use can comunicate with each other.

VM Setup:

  1. After downloading the vms just double click on them and VirtualBox should open asking if you want to import the vms. Import VM

    • Remember to modify the ram setting if you have the resources on your machine. This makes the vm much more responsive.

  2. Change the network settings for the vms so that they can communicate with each other. (remember to do this for both the vms) VM right click
